Oppo F15 128GB 8GB RAM
You can now buy Oppo F15 at its recommended retail price 28,500 at Phone Place Kenya. This is our review of what is the first mid range smartphone by Oppo for the year 2020. On that note, happy new year – this article was published in January of the year 2020. Also read about other Oppo smartphones on this website by clicking this link. That being said let us now show you why you should consider Oppo F15 as your next smartphone. You probably are here because you have doubts or questions. We will answer the first right away – Oppo F15 has a fingerprint scanner under its display.Â
Oppo F15 DesignÂ
First and foremost we must begin by talking about Oppo F15’s design. And why would we write about it if there wasn’t much to say? At Phone Place Kenya hold that Oppo smartphones speak the most fluent design language. And being an Oppo the F15 further extends this claim. It is a smartphone with a sleek design and as its making company puts it, A lightness you can feel. We subscribe to these marketing claims because we find them true. Indeed, Oppo F15 is a phone whose beauty is worth beholding.Â
Notice two things also about the design here. That back panel. We concede it is a plastic back but who would even think it is after seeing how it is inspired by color moving through light? At first glance you will think it is a glass panel because of how its shimmers with your every tilt. This trait you will see with either the Lightening Black or Unicorn White version of Oppo F15. The second this is that it is a light and slim (hence sleek) smartphone at only 172 g and 7.9mm thickness respectively.Â
AMOLED Display on Oppo F15
Announce Oppo F15’s display with the credit due it. We tell about its AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with so much enthusiasms knowing that nothing beats AMOLED on a mid range smartphone. Absolutely nothing! As if this were not enough, Oppo F15 also comes with a stunning 2400×1080 pixels resolution screen. That’s 2400×1080 pixels and DC Dimming 2.0 which protects your eyesight when using your phone in low light conditions. Again with 90.7% Screen Ratio on an FHD+ 6.4 inches panel you simply get to yourself immersed in the action because of the cinematic experience it provides.Â
Flaunt Your SpeedÂ
It may have skipped your attention buy Oppo F15 has 128GB of internal storage with (wait for it) 8GB RAM. At this price point phones come with at most 6GB RAM. But not Oppo F15. Thin about how much you can achieve even in multitasking with this much memory. It must however be noted that for this phone’s price to be what it is a few compromised had to be made. This is very evident given that the choice of chipset here is a Mediatek MT6771V Helio P70 (12nm). And I will not make further comments on that. Also under the hood is a Mali-G72 MP3 GPU and an Octa-core (4×2.1 GHz Cortex-A73 & 4×2.0 GHz Cortex-A53) CPU. It is an Android powered device Oppo’s F15 running Android 9.0 (Pie) with Color OS 6.1.Â
CamerasÂ
Of the four camera lenses on the back panel of Oppo F15 I feel compelled to focus on the dedicated macro lens. The other three are these. A wide 48 MP main lens, an 8 MP, f/2.3 ultra wide lens and a 2 MP depth sensor. Now we all know what 48MP on a camera can do. Only let us note that it uses 4-in-1 pixel combination tech to produce sharp images. That 2MP dedicated macro camera on the other hand is for close up shots ranging 3-8cm. You will love it because it has autofocus and captures so much tiny details in detail. You will also appreciate video quality thanks to Oppo F15’s intelligent EIS and internal gyroscope which ensure less shaky [email protected] videos (this is the highest video quality F15 offers).Â
BatteryÂ
Get fast battery charging 50% in 30 minutes with Oppo’s VOOC 20W Flash Charge 3.0. The battery itself is a non-removable Li-Po 4025 mAh component. It should comfortable last a whole day of usage and still some charge left by the end of it. Flaunt also with Oppo F15’s battery. Below is a full list of the key features this easy to recommend smartphone has.
