Oppo A31 (64GB) price in Kenya
While the price of Oppo A31 with 128 GB storage costs 20,000 shillings in Kenya, Oppo A31 with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage has a suggested price of 17,500 Kenya shillings. It comes in two color options, Fantasy White and Mystery Black. In Kenya, Oppo A31 is also available with 64GB (click here to see) storage and 4 GB RAM for a price of around 20,000 shillings. It features a triple camera setup, Android 9.0 (Pie), 6.5 inches display, and 4230 mAh battery.Â
Oppo A31 features
Here are the key features of Oppo Reno A31: 12 MP Triple Rear Camera, 6.5-inch Water-drop display, 3D Aesthetic Design, and a 4230 mAh Battery. The other notable feature is its rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. For more features, check out our specification tab or follow this link.
Great looking Selfies
Oppo A31’s selfie camera is an 8 MP, f/2.0 HDR photo taker. If you recall, when Oppo made its entry in Kenya it sold under the slogan, The Selfie Expert. A few years down the line and the company has evolved quite a lot and now offers more than just selfies. This selfie camera of Oppo A31 takes some nice looking and beautiful selfies. It even shoots videos at [email protected] just as the primary camera. However, let us note that the camera performance of this phone doesn’t seem like the main focus of it – pun intended. It feels like the trade-off was made with the cameras because 12 MP + 8 MP really ain’t that much.
Cameras for every occasion
We are presented with three camera lenses on the back panel of this phone. Oppo A31 comes with a 12 MP Triple Rear primary camera setup. These three consist of a main 12 MP wide shooter, a 2 MP macro, and a 2 MP depth sensor. By now we are used to such an arrangement with phones nowadays so at large I am only compelled to mention what each lens does. Take note that a primary 12 MP shooter on a mid-tier smartphone could prove wanting. But it does take some nice photos when scenes are well light. While the macro lens lets you zoom in on the tiniest details, the depth sensor helps create more stunning portraits.
Internal and OS
Oppo A31 runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with ColorOS 6.1 straight out of its package. I wouldn’t want to say this is disappointing but, being the Q1 of 2020, Android 10 would have been appreciated even more. And I will not encourage you with false hope of an upgrade. Maybe Oppo A31 will get it, but most probably it won’t. But moving on, Oppo A31 is powered by an Helio P35 chipset, a 2.3GHz Octa-Core CPU, and a PowerVR GE 8320 GPU. With these Oppo A31 not only runs smoothly but also requires lower power consumption.
This version of Oppo A31 comes with 64 GB + 4 GB RAM. 4 GB RAM is quite a generous random memory capacity for this phone. And with internal storage, you can further expand it using a micro SD card up to an additional 256 GB. Now that is fun.
All-Day Big Battery life
Oppo A31 has a decent capacity 4230 mAh Battery that goes up to 14 hours of video streaming, 7h of gaming, and 111 hours of music playback. Oppo does not officially mention any fast battery charging technology here. But be rest assured there is a micro USB 2.0 port here.
