Verdict

The HONOR Play20C is a practical budget smartphone for users who prioritize long battery life, a large display and everyday convenience. Its 6,000mAh battery, expandable storage and unique rear touchscreen make it an interesting option at its price point, under KES 20,000. However, the HD+ resolution, basic cameras, entry-level performance, and slow 15W charging limit its appeal to demanding users. The 4G-only connectivity is another consideration for buyers seeking faster mobile networks. Overall, the HONOR Play20C suits everyday communication, browsing, social media, and video streaming, particularly when battery endurance matters more than gaming performance or advanced photography.
