Pop 5 Pro smartphone is a follow-up, at least by TECNO Mobile’s naming scheme, to the Tecno Pop 5 from 2021, July. It features a more modern design that tells it apart from the rather uninteresting Pop 5. The Pop 5 Pro is costs slightly more than its predecessor retailing at just KES 12,000 in Kenya (source). An equivalent of $105 or 92 Euros.

Some of the main features of Tecno Pop 5 Pro include a 6.52-inch HD+ Dot Notch Screen. It is an IPS LCD panel with 720 x 1600 pixels resolution. Alongside its 32GB of internal storage is 2GB of RAM. Its 8MP + QVGA camera with Dual flash is quite a highlight for the price of the Pop 5 Pro in Kenya. The selfie camera also has its flash. It is a 5MP front-facing cam. As far as connectivity and network are concerned, Pop 5 Pro has GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, FM Radio, OTG, and 4G Connectivity. Design
Tecno Pop 5 Pro smartphone measures 164.8 x 76.1 x 9.5 mm and is made out of plastic. Its 9.5mm thickness comes about because of its large 6,000 mAh battery which is its major highlight. Design-wise, it brings in a fresh new look with a dual-tone design on the back panel. Same color, just different shades. The top smaller half houses its dual camera setup. The third circular spot is not a camera.
It has “AI” written on it. Next to the camera module is the LED flash adjacent to its rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The bottom half has a subtle TECNO branding on the opposite sides with the camera module.
It is still a micro-USB phone, with a 3.5mm jack for headphones and a loudspeaker. The volume rocker and power button are on the same side of the phone. Its 6.52 inches IPS LCD display is of the dewdrop design with TECNO calls Dot-Notch. The bezels here are quite significant. Pop 5 Pro is a Dual SIM smartphone that has dedicated support for the SD Card.
