The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite’s display is a 6.55 inch AMOLED with a 1080P resolution and a fast 90 Hertz refresh rate. That 240 Hertz touch sampling rate to smooth out your swiping and scrolling. The 5G version has HDR 10 (not HDR10+ like 5G version) support and is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 (not Glass 6 like 5G version). Content looks gorgeous on this panel and plenty sharp. Plus you have support for 10-bit color. Brightness is quite bright here, great can we say at around 510 nits with the slider and it boosts up to 840 nits in auto mode when out in the bright sun.

There is something like an always-on display here showing you time and notifications without needing to unlock the phone. However, it’ll only appear if you tap the screen and disappear after a few seconds. Otherwise, you can just unlock the phone directly using the side-mounted fingerprint reader.

Its large 6.55-inch display is surrounded by a minimalistic “hole-punch” design – preserving the peace of mind that your phone remains IP53, dust, and splash protection throughout its lifetime. The smartphone features a 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and 402 PPI pixel density. Mi 11 Lite also has an HDR10+ display and an 85.3% screen-to-body ratio.

Platform

At the heart of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite is a Snapdragon 732G chipset built on an 8-nanometer process. Well, this isn’t the highest tier of mid-range chipsets. And there’s no support for 5g network connectivity on Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite. And since there isn’t a flagship-grade GPU high frame rate gaming isn’t really supported. But even so, the Redmi Note 10 Pro holds its own and does a nice job performance-wise for its class. The new UI interface is as smooth as butter. The whole device is powered by a large 4,250 mAh battery and battery life is excellent. You get support for 30-watt fast charging and a 33-watt charger comes in the box. With it, you will be able to charge the Note 10 pro from a dead battery to 50% in half an hour.

Storage and UI

One gets 64 or 128 gigs of storage on the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite, which is expandable via dedicated micro SST. The interface of the note 10 pro is Xiaomi’s MIUI 12 over Android 11. But even though it is running on top of the new Android, this is still the familiar MIUI interface we’ve seen on Redmi’s recent phones. You have the option for an app drawer, or you can opt to keep all of your apps on the home screen. And you can also choose between the traditional notification shade or split between a notification center and a control center.

Cameras

All right, let’s move on to the cameras. These are the exact same cameras you see on the Mi 11 Lite 5G. There’s a 64-megapixel quad bear main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 5-megapixel tele-macro camera that has autofocus. Photos from the main camera come out at 16 megapixels by default. They are stellar for this class. There is great resolved detail and punchy colors balanced sharpness, low noise, and wide yet natural-looking dynamic range.

Portraits look amazing if you have enough light with plenty of detail and nice colors. The edge detection does a decent job though. The eight-megapixel photos from the 8 MP, f/2.2, 119˚ (ultrawide), 1/4.0″, 1.12µm are decent for the class with good contrast and a wide dynamic range. Close-up shots taken with the 5 MP, f/2.4, (macro), AF are pretty good. You get nice contrast and looking colors.

Video recording

Video can be shot with the main camera and up to 4k at 30fps with excellent quality. Their support for EIS too. The ultra-wide records, 1080p videos, and these are okay for this class. Just like the flagship Xiaomi Mi 11, the Lite 5G version supports special video modes. You can play around with these include magic zoom, slow shutter, time freeze, and the inception-like parallel world. Arguably the most useful effect is the night mode TimeLapse. It stitches together night mode photos into a striking 4k video
