One time OnePlus smartphones were known as ‘flagship killers’. But not a new flagship killer has entered the market. This is Realme X2 Pro. Having been released on October of 2019 it basically summarized the best features of that year and put then in one phone. The company Realme itself has described the X2 Pro as the Full Speed Flagship. In this article you will tell out why this is so, even thought the specs sheet below will straight away affirm this claim.

90Hz Super AMOLED Display

90Hz refers to the refresh rate which is a measure for the number of times a screen redraws an image. In simple terms, a higher refresh rate means less motion blur and considerably clearer image quality. Realme X2 Pro’s refresh rate is 90Hz unlike the regular 60Hz which almost all other phones before it had. Besides this new and refreshing feature Realme X2 Pro’s display is Super AMOLED. That means attention to each pixel is observed making it one of the best displays in the market. Need I recount that this is a flagship device, and that its specifications needs must of the highest order? Such it is with the display present on Realme X2 Pro.

It should give you much relief that this very impressive display is protected and made out of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. This is the same glass used on the back panel of Realme X2 Pro although sadly there is no official support for wireless charging. But more on that later. While other smartphones, even high end ones, have at most 600 nits max brightness, Realme X2 Pro’s stands at1000 nits max brightness. This, coupled with the display panel simple means you will be able to read and see content on this display as clearly as you would indoors while outdoors in direct sunlight. And that it (this display) has a fingerprint scanner underneath it, is DCI-P3 100% compliant and has HDR10+ support just confirms its brilliance.

Outracing flagship

I will rephrase that, not only does Realme X2 Pro outrace flagship smartphones, it also outruns and outmatches a good number of them all. Consider first that it is the first Realme smartphone to have the most powerful chipset of its year, Qualcomm SM8150 Snapdragon 855+ with a thrilling 2.9GHz clock speed. Who can say Realme X2 Pro stands second to another? Who can claim it is not a good a flagship as those by other well known brands? Also, who won’t acknowledge the latest UFS 3.0 flash storage present here which ensures this phone’s speed boost up to 80% faster? None I say. Not forgetting that it also has a new generation Adreno 640 (700 MHz) GPU for faster graphics rendering.

You will unbox Realme X2 Pro to find it running Android 9.0 (Pie) which will  be upgraded to Android 10.0. On top of Android is ColorOS 6.1 of course just to show you how close Realme and Oppo are, or used to be. We have the 128GB internal storage with 8GB RAM version this phone in stock. And inasmuch as 128GB is a sizable internal storage it usually is nice just to see that there is support for expansion. But this is not the case with Realme X2 Pro. If you are hungry for more storage then you can always inquire about the 256GB variant. Otherwise this one or the 64GB 6GB RAM would do great.

Sound Quality and 20x Hybrid Zoom Camera

The camera layout on the back panel of Realme X2 Pro consists of four impressive lenses. These are a main 64 MP, f/1.8 wide sensor, a 13 MP f/2.5 telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, an 8 MP, f/2.2ultrawide lens and a 2 MP depth sensor. Though as per this review this may not be the case but the highlight feature of Realme X2 Pro is its camera unit. This is also because it has 2x optical zoom, 5x hybrid zoom and even 20x hybrid zoom. Realme X2 Pro’s rear camera also supports various modes like 64MP mode, Super Night Scene, Pro mode, panorama, background blur, time-lapse photography, HDR, ultra-wide mode, ultra-macro mode and so on. And when it comes to video recording it goes all the way to 4k 2160p@3fps.

A few words on the sound quality Realme X2 Pro produces. It is paramount I make mention of it because it is quite good thanks to Dolby Atmos and 24-bit/192kHz audio (including speakers). It is the kind of sound quality that you get to immerses your into the action. This translates to quality video watching, gaming and music time. We find that nothing beats the thrill of great sound quality on a smartphone with dual surround sound speakers paired with Dolby Atmos technology. Such is the case with Realme X2 Pro – simply amazing.

Best battery smartphone

When we say Realme X2 Pro has the best battery among smartphones what we mean is that its non-removable Li-Po 4000 mAh battery will take only 35 minutes to charge from 0-100%. This is as a result of Super VOOC Flash Charge fast battery charging 50W. The good news is that you do not get to buy this 50W charger separately because it is included in the box. On normal days this battery lasts a whole days of usage. And in just about that minutes after it has drained out, you will be good to go. Concerns about Realme X2 Pro overheating because of this fast charge feature have been addressed by a Vapor Chamber System that prevent your phone’s processor from heating.

If Realme X2 Pro defines the Real You then be sure to buy it with us in color Lunar White, Neptune Blue, Red Master Edition or Gray Master Edition today. Realme X2 Pro indeed is a smartphone to desire.
